Assisting financial controller to overseeing the financial and management accounting function, forecasting and budgeting and other accounting duties. In this regard, the incumbent is required to:

Responsibility

• Supervise the financial reporting team and review monthly consolidation;
• Evaluate project performance and perform analytical review;
• Compile division budgets and rolling forecast;
• Participate M&A transactions and advise accounting treatment;
• Managing the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures and ensure their compliance with international, local standards and best practices;
• Perform ad-hoc assignments, etc.

Requirements:

• Degree holder and member of HKICPA or equivalent;
• 9-12-year working experience in accounting with at least 5 years’ experience in managerial role;
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and solid experience in reviewing a sizeable consolidation;
• Mature, self-motivated and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadline and handle multiple tasks;
• Good leadership, interpersonal and strong analytical skills;
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
• Knowledge of financial modeling and participate due diligence exercise;
• Proficiency in advanced MS Excel & Powerpoint skills. Knowledge of Hyperion & FLEX systems is an advantage.
